Last Week’s Show (June 7th)
More fun than a barrel of monkeys (or more fun than playing the game “barrel of monkeys” at Uncle Steve’s house) yet another hour of the Big Alaska Show with Uncle Steve and Bearded Jon.
The fun never ends on the Big Alaska Show and this week was no exception. Although it was lonely. Joining us on the phone was Akbar Ali Ablabadadgasdgfasdfgasd (we couldn’t pronounce it; how can you expect us to be able to spell it) filling us in on all the details at the 3 Barons’ Renaissance Fair.
Also on the phone was Adventure Girl Lilly Sheldon, marketing director at US Travel with the latest on travel dos and don’ts (or, more correctly, what the airlines are doing and don’ting to passengers this week).
Also on the phone was Fairbanks broadcaster Michael Dukes with tales from further north. Calling from North Pole Michael was headed to Nenana to watch the presentation of the Nenana Ice Classic check at the annual River Days Celebration.
Once again it was an hour so jam packed with fun we hardly knew what to do with ourselves when the hour was over. So we went out for coffee.
